Matlock,Derbyshire - High Ordish- as its the highest
point in Derbyshire and a good spot for
scanners & DX'ers alike.

Here's Tony, my son Antony & Me at the Annual
Alveston Castle Amateur Radio Rally
which is held every year, its usually held on the
1st Sunday in June at Alveston in Derbyshire.
We are regular attenders of this rally as it's
a good place to buy new equipment and bits n pieces
as well as bump into old C.B buddies:)
The rally has a wide range of Radios & Radio Equipment,
Computer Equipment, A carboot for bartering over
useless gadgets n spares and a pottery marquet
if u have to take the missis..
I'd recomend this rally for anyone interested in Radio's
(Beware the foods expensive!)

Arrh the good old days :) Thats Tony above when we used to
run a small pirate radio station (mac-fm 107)
We ran the station for 6 months before the Dti busted us
and shut us down.
We used a home made 75wat transmitter and a makeshift
quaterwave antenna and various audio gear.
Above right was a macfm outin lol hense the stupid disguises.
Doing the Pirate radio was a laugh, but a costly one..

Recent hol in Gran Canaria i managed to find the hotel
frequency for the security guards using the watson sniffer..
I managed to wind them up abit using the Yaesu VX-7R till
I was descovered by the security guard who joined me for a
drink (after a tickin off lol)
The taxi's over there also used PMR 446Mhz..
